Oh my stars

I made this with the current Simon Says Stamp on Monday challenge in mind:

(This image shows the stars better)

Supplies:
  • Library card base (bonus points... cuz... look at the book title...)
  • Tim's Poinsettia stencil used with Ken Oliver's Color Bursts
  • Evergreen Bough DI blended at the bottom-right as a backdrop for the girl
  • The girl is from Tim's Christmas paper doll collection
  • Tim's Metallic holiday quotations
  • Twine from my stash
  • The stars are puffy stickers bought this year at Target in the dollar section
Like I said, I'll share this at Simon Says Stamp on Monday for their Star Light, Star Bright challenge.  I'll also share at Watercooler Wednesday with their AG challenge... just found them so it is convenient that it's an AG so I can play.

Cheers!

  1. Wow, Mimi, what a gorgeous tag! I love the layered details. There is so much to see beyond the beautifully coloured "paper doll" and those background poinsettias. Love that library card base. It's like having "found" materials and making something wonderful and new out of them. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  2. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful tag at this week's Anything Goes challenge at the Watercooler. The library card base is perfect to showcase the overlay of poinsettia's stars and the paperdoll.

  3. Truly vintage looking with a nice blend of colors for the black and white image to stand out...
