Pine branch cards

Made these last week for special requests:

Supplies:

• Pine bough stamp embossed with both Lindy's Stamp Gang in Oakleaf Olive and Ranger Potting Soil EPs
• Sentiments written with Ranger Letter It pens and embossed with the leftover mixed powders
• Paper dipped in Stormy Sky DI
• Mat paper from an old old old 8x8" paper pad

SOS: Congrats/Graduation...

Greetings!  This week at Shopping Our Stash we are getting ready for the graduates!  And, because not everyone has a graduate in their life, we're opening the Grad Challenge also to a Congratulations challenge!

This card is for a friend's nephew.  Initially, I was going to mount it all on a white card, but when I went to get the card, I opted for the kraft instead.  I think it looks much more masculine this way.

Supplies:

• Main patterned paper from a 12x12 dated 2014 by Echo Park
• The brown/copper background paper was from the craft set that belonged to my kids when they were little... I recently cleaned out their craft bin and it turned out to be a gold mine!
• The metallic cardboard was from some holiday cookie packaging a neighbor gave us.  It was just such a great copper color I had to keep part of it.
• I used various hole punches to add confetti
• The "Congrats" is a Tim Holtz die

Happy Retirement!  This is for one of my husband's coworkers.

In the sun...

Supplies:

• Main background panel written on with a Ranger Letter It pen and embossed with Recollections EP in clear
• Background inked with Evergreen Bough (top) and Peacock Feathers (bottom) DI
• Circles punched with an old Recollections punch
• Hawaiian shirt is a SU! stamp, first stamped with Candied Apple DOx then inked with Distress Embossing Ink and heat embossed with Recollections clear EP.  Next, I daubed it with Broken China DI.
• The flip-flops were drawn using two Letter It pens and heat embossed with clear.  I inked it with Mustard Seed DI. (The upper flip-flop was a little wonky, so I partially covered it...
• The palm trees are by Inspired By Stamping, inked with Evergreen Bough and Vintage Photo.
• I sprinkled everything with water to add the droplets.
• The yellow trim is from an old Martha Stewart punch.

Flower graduation

Here another graduation card in the colors of the local high school:

Supplies:

• Inspired By Stamping plumerias from the set of that name inked with Distress Embossing Ink and heat embossed with Custer's Last Stamp Silver EP on green paper from DCWV
• The vellum circle was cut from thick vellum packaging
• The silver background and silver that the sentiment was cut from is also saved packaging
• The sentiment is by Tim Holtz

Golden 2018

...and here is a girlie graduation card:

Supplies

• The background polka dot paper was pre-cut on my scrap box. Don't recall who designed it.
• The circle was cut from some rad vellum packaging using a die that Autumn sent (thanks!)
• The numbers are by HLS, and Autumn also sent those to me! Thanks! I heat-embossed them using the Gold Tinsel from the Letter It pack.
• I added sequins from designer packs... packaging long gone.  I used Glossy Accents to adhere them.
• I mounted the whole thing to some nice parchment that seems to match the vellum well.

2018 #GOALS

Here's one for the graduating class (stand by... I made 5 grad cards today... let's see how many I can post before I fall asleep):

Supplies:

• The black cardstock was from my scrap box.  I stamped it with HLS number stamps (from Autumn, thanks!) with the Letter It embossing ink then embossed with Silver Tinsel EP from the Ranger Letter It pack.
• The corners of the black panel were cut with a Fiskars punch
• The green cardstock is the reverse from some DCWV patterned paper.
• #GOALS stamp is by Stampabilities, inked and embossed like the 2018
• The silver panel behind the green it's actually from some packaging that I saved.

I made this card this morning:

Supplies:

• Background made on a scrap of Canson Mix Media paper
• Finnabair crackle paste applied with an old hotel room key through three different triangle stencils: two by Heidi Swapp and the lower-right stencil by Tim Holtz (I have a thing for geometric stencils...)
• Background dipped in DOx in Blueprint and Shaded Lilac
• Lavender mat paper by Core'dinations 
• Spellbinders cactus die cut from Canson Mix Media paper inked with Twisted Citron DOx
• Tim's "Congrats" cut from a scrap of Canson inked with Cracked Pistachio DOx
• Sequins from some trim from the thrift store adhered with Glossy Accents

Congrats! A non-traditional baby card

Here's a more untraditional baby card, but if you knew the family, you'd know I hit the nail on the head:

I used a deer-die from my friend Pia (takk!), Crushed Olive and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks, a Heidi Swapp stencil, Faber-Castell Pitt pens, a Tombow marker, and some scrap paper.

Confession: I truly made this in November and the pictures just surfaced. But I like it to much to not share...

CASology

Here's a "Congratulations" card made for the current challenge at CASology:

Supplies:

• Tim Holtz/Adirondack alcohol inks in Wild Plum, Sunset Orange, Sunshine Yellow, and gold mixative
• Thickers letters

Et voila!  I am so into the depth of alcohol ink right now. I think I'm too craft-deprived and my brain is like, "Ooooh... pretty colors..."

I really tried to keep it clean... Though I would usually ink the edges. This would probably look good with some gilding on the edges.

• K & Company paper: I actually cut a popsicle stick and dipped it into Liquid Leaf gold to add to the confetti look!
• Studs from Ki Memories
• Zig 2 Way Glue with generic gold foil for the sentiment
