Viva La Verve Week#1!

Hooray! Happy to participate,  happy with my card... here it is:

And here's the sketch:

Last month I hardly got to participate during the month on VLV (or many of my other faves), so it's a new month... hoping life slows down enough for some good craft-time!

Supplies

  • Old piano paper... the background was a paper from a guide likely 100 years old.
  • The cross-hatched DP is BasicGrey, and the gold polka dot vellum is American Crafts
  • I edged/daubed it all with Tim Holtz's Distress Paint in Victorian Velvet, then topped with Color Box chalk in Creamy Brown
  • The "beautiful" is from Heidi Swapp, and I painted it with some Liquid Leaf in classic gold
  • Cord is True Hemp metallic and then sprinkled a few sequins for good measure

  1. This is very pretty Mimi and although a modern design definitely has a vintage feel and the soft pink is lovely with the beautiful gold polka dot vellum and gold die cut sentiment. x
