...and here is her tag:
Supplies:
- I LOVE the inspiration from Linda to make a quasi-plaid background with Tim's striped stencil. I used Peeled Paint and Fired Brick, and I actually did the reverse-stencil technique... gave a lighter effect.
- Sprayed with Perfect Pearls Mist in gold.
- Edged wuthering Color Box chalk in Creamy Brown
- The pom-pom trim is an old sale-find (magical purchase), and the poinsettia, red twine, and leaves are from the dollar store. I added some Tim Holtz Distress stain in Tarnished Brass
I love the look you've created. I ought to take out my stencils and paints and get started on those gift tags. Picking up lots of inspiration here:)
ReplyDeleteHad to rush off yesterday and not sure I even completed my thought on that last comment... Anyway, I just love the soft plaid you've created with this stencil. I just got mine and am dying to play with it! The pom pom fringe really works with this, just fabulous! I love your take!
ReplyDeleteYour background came out terrific. I really like the lighter look you achieved with the plaid. And I like how you let the background shine through rather than covering it all up. Great take on Week #4!

Linda
