FMS #214

This turned out surprisingly well considering that I did not have high hopes for it this morning:

This is an entry for Freshly Made Sketches #214:

Supplies and notes:
  • Here's a little story: the music-note tissue paper came in a magical, unexpected package from an amazing crafter. ♡♡♡ It was the wrapping.  I was experimenting a little this morning and ended up painting some Tim Holtz Distress Paint in Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar on the backside, some I painted right on,  some I dabbed through a Tim Holtz Faded Dot stencil. I glued the dried circles with Mod Podge, and kind of squished it flat.
  • The wire is Darice
  • The sentiment is Recollections,  stamped with MementoLuxe, double-tapped
  • The whole thing was sprayed with Perfect Pearls Mist in gold

  1. What a great way to make your own supplies! I love how you've re-used this pretty tissue paper. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

  2. The golden string and splatter have an amazing effect, it did turn out beautiful indeed...

  3. That music paper is really great. So pretty for the sketch. Glad you joined us this week at FMS!
