Wonder girl

Initially, this was just a play-time, but it turned into a cool tag for City Crafter's current challenge:


Supplies:

  • Tim's Typewriter stencil used on a libraray catalog card with Color Bursts
  • Andrea's/Snapping Monster's Wonder Girls stamp set... I just looked and they are not currently available in her Etsy store... sorry for you if you don't have 'em!  Anyway, I just inked them with Ranger Archival in Jet Black.
  • I used a waterbrush to lighten the type behind the face and hair
  • Glossy Accents used to add some Distress Glitter Dust to her hair
  • Evergreen Bough DI added to the portions of the card for a little more color
  • Black gesso added thinly at edges
  • Random yellow lines drawn with Distress Crayon in Mustard Seed for some nice complementary interest.
  • I wrote that quote at the top right from the song "Thunder" by Imagine Dragons
