First Day of Spring

... well not quite the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere until March 20, but I am ready!

  • Library card base inked with DOx in Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet, using a Heidi Swapp stencil for the latter.
  • Tim's wildflower adhered with matte Mod Podge
  • Snippet from a discarded book
  • I am at the very bottom of my first Perfect Pearls spray, purchased years ago, and I've been at the very bottom for like 2 years... it's super-concentrated now, after years of not shaking enough, but I love it!  It is obviously no longer a fine mist but squirts and conglomerated mica!  Yum!
That's it.  Very simple, but very cheerful.

I'd like to share this at the following two challenges:

  1. Mimi, the background you created is fabulous! Such pretty Spring colors! I love the sentiment! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players this week! XX

  2. Love the collage feel to your card Mimi - Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!

  3. I'm so ready for Spring, too, Mimi! I love your mixed media project! Very cheerful!

  4. Love the collage aspect of your card--beautiful colors and a library date due slip is always interesting...thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!

  5. Love that spray of mica! Gorgeous shimmer! Ah, the first day of spring, just days away! Why is is so dang cold?

  6. Gorgeous tag, love how its shimmers, just great. Thanks for joining us at Tag Tuesday, hugs, Valerie

  7. I love this - it really is what I think of as your style. I've noticed you've used something you called 'a library card' before and now I know you're a librarian I wonder if it's an actual old library card?? I hope so, as it's a great idea.

  8. Loving the background here..fab colour choice...
Thank you for joining us at Tag Tuesday.
