Kiss-kiss

Thanks to the current Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge, I tried a new stamping technique (kissing!) and ended up with this ultra-CAS card:

...another viable birthday card for my stash!

Supplies:
  • The oak leaf stamp is one of my oldest. It is certainly a white oak,  and looks a helluva lot like a valley oak, arguably my favorite deciduous tree... I digress. The stamp is All Night Media, and it was inked with ColorBox Coral
  • The oak leaf "kissed" a Fiskars text stamp
  • A Heidi Swapp stencil was taped across the leaf and inked through with Peacock Feathers DI
  • The sentiment is stamped in Ranger Archival
I keep wondering if I should add black detail lines to enclose the stenciled area,  but I think it also looks cool and airy without any visual fences.

Here's the graphic for the HLS Challenge, and you ought to also visit just to check out the video links for stamp-kissing... maybe don't GTS, hahaha!
