STAMPlorations' April CAS

I made this for the current CAS challenge at STAMPlorations:

It's so simple it's silly, but this is what I call CAS... and, damnit: I can't help but to add birds to everything! I mean, to me, birds are so naturally beautiful-- color combinations, textures, movements-- I love to play on what already exists in perfection!

Here is the challenge card:

I used Dylusions spray in Fresh Lime through a Martha Stewart stencil for the stripes.

Also, FYI, this is another little card: folded, it measures about 3x4.25"-- perfect for a backpack, lunchbox, or gift tag.

  1. Now this is CAS perfection, Mimi. Great card, friend!

  2. Oh my gosh, I love the stenciled strips - FAB! And I think you should very well slap a bird on everything! They are truly inspiring creatures. Love this one. I saw a pack of birds at TM, but didn't get it - please don't tell me that's where this treasure came from! So cool!

  3. Once again, another stellar creation, Mimi! You just carry on slapping your birds on anything you want! WOW factor guaranteed! Stenciling: fantastic!

  4. woooww Mimi...
love this birdie and love the colors
    you are right natural beauty
    and beautifully made
    love this
you have to tell it is "card" or "Book mark" (maybe at the theme at top of your blog?) sweety I dont want comment ooh what a great card but it is not a card (shame me hehehe)

  5. Simple or complicated, that's something that has no impact on the beauty of a design. What I like about it is that it's not looking as simple as you might have felt it was to make this. I love this whole nature feel.

  6. That bird looks awesome against that background! Thanks for joining us at STAMP-lorations CAS Challenge!
