Shopped my stash for a big boy and this is what I got:

Quick notes (busy, busy, busy):
  • A scrap of paper
  • Antique silver frantage  applied with Mod Podge
  • Amy Tangerine and generic Target alphabet stamps
  • Spiced Marmalade Distress Paint
I made this to share at SOS #245: For the... Boys.

  1. Great finds in your stash shopping. I've stash shopped a lot lately too. Love today's card and your summer tanager one too. Have a great day! :)

  2. Fabulous big boy card! Love the frantage embossing - it makes a good frame! Chrisx

  3. Way cool! I totally need to make some of these boy cards to have on hand, always wishing I had some, great inspiration. It's hard for me to think simple on a card, but I truly love this look, especially for boys!!! My boys are carefree and easy goin'! ;0

  4. I'm a DP addict. I love papers like this, those that can stand alone and make the card. Perfect for a teenager or an older man.

  5. Awesome! So glad you shopped your stash to join the challenge! A fab dude birthday card! Thanks for playing along with the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH this week for our "For the Biggest Boys" challenge!

  6. oh my gosh, what a great "guy card" just goes to show you really don't need MUCH... if you know how to pick really well! (& you so totally DO!!!) :) thanks for SHOPPING YOUR STASH with us this week! ♥
