Tweety

I received this black and white postcard of this bird as a thank-you from a friend... so I couldn't resist adding color... and she'll get it back!




Supplies:

  • Postcard with bird drawing
  • Liquid frisket (masking fluid) used on parts of the bird
  • DIs applied to an acrylic block and sprayed with lots of water then I pressed the card into it
  • Tim's metallic quotations added 
Voila!

    How daring to use this coloring technique for such a wonderful image. I would be too afraid of it getting ruined. But your risk paid off, it's beautiful and suits the image so well!
