Supplies:
- A scrap of Strathmore watercolor paper inked with Colorbursts in erlot, Indigo, Ultramarine Blue plus Pthalo Green to make a turquoise.
- After spritzing with vodka and hitting it with the heat tool several times, I sprayed it with a very thick mixture of perfect pearls in Heirloom Gold.
- Tim's Mixed-media die used to cut out a portion.
- I glued the extra little pieces with a Zig glue pen.
- Ancient Fiskars deckle scissors used to cut the rest of the panel (I've had these since high school).
- Sentiment brushed on with Finetec metallic watercolor in Inka Gold
I'd like to share this with the following challenges:
Gorgeous galactic design, Mimi. I love all your beautiful colors and uses of watercolored mixed mediums. A really stunning panel and so cool how you die cut the bottom and used a few pieces for embellishment. Your inka gold sentiment was the perfect final touch. TFS and joining us at CAS Watercolour.
ReplyDeleteP.S. How fun to use your ancient deckle scissors..gosh, I think I still have mine too:-)

ReplyDeleteYou're using vodka on your cards? That is alcohol abuse, at least with the prices in my country, lol. I have tried to make a galaxy background before, with no success, this turned out looking like the real deal.
