Navy and mint!  A winning combination!

My card is rather simple, but I love the looks of it... so much that I made another similar card below all this business...

I made this for the Inkspiration Challenge #108: Mint and Navy.

Supplies and notes:
  • I got new texture fades and couldn't wait to use them!  This was their maiden journey...
  • I used some generic foil transfer paper over some Zig 2-way glue over parts here and there
  • I inked the Recollections sentiment with Tim Holtz Distress Ink and heat-embossed it with Ranger in Princess Gold
Here's the bonus card... too cute to keep to myself:

  1. Lovely distressed look - I would never have thought to do this with these colours and it looks great.
Thank you for joining us at Inkspirational Challenges. Come back next time! Marina

  2. You have stripe emboss folder??jealous hehe..LOL..great use on your card Mimi and that chicken wire(?) Lovely added on mint and blue cardm.the second card ..beautiful too my sweet friend....hugs

  3. The foil adds a worn look to the designs, I very much like that. Simple yet decorative cards suitable for a man or woman equally.
