Tailless Swallowtail

A tailless swallowtail:

Supplies:

  • Library catalog card bar inked with Distress Oxide Inks some months ago
  • Butterfly and text cut from an old field guide that belonged to my grandparents
  • Liquid Pearls in gold
  • Flowers from my stash
  • 5/8" grosgrain ribbon from my stash
  • Tim Holtz Ledger Script stamp added to parts of card with Vintage Photo archival ink
  • Vintage Photo Distress Crayon drawn and blended at edges
I'd like to share this at the following challenges:
Odd that two challenges have such a similar and uncommon theme this round!  Hmmm... what is the connection?

  10. So beautiful, Mimi! I love that tail-less swallowtail, which happens to be the only butterfly I've seen this summer. Thank you so very much for playing along in our "B" Happy challenge at Frilly and Funkie! (I think it's just a coincidence that TIOT has a similar theme) Hugs!
