Index Card A Day, Day 35

I've been participating in this year's Index Card A Day Challenge by Daisy Yellow.

Here is the library catalog card for Day 35:

This was made on a library card using Jane Davenport watercolors, a Jane Davenport brush pen, a Tim Holtz paper doll, and a quote from an old unknown book.

I am sharing this with the current Inkspirational challenge because I believe the sun idea was in my mind when I created the card.

If you've never heard of the Index Card A Day Challenge, I strongly suggest you go check it out.  It's been terrific this summer because I've been so busy that it keeps me creative, even on a small scale.

And here's to Inkspirational for the inspiration!

  1. This is such a cool idea. I love how you used this design to create a sun ray design. And your image and sentiment match perfectly. Great to see you at Ink x

  2. Oh wow.. what a fun project! I like your vivid colors and the unique project. Thanks for playing at Inkspirational!
