Get well... have some tea...

Finished up this doodle and made it into a card!

  • The doodle was drawn on Canson Mix Media paper with a Micron pen
  • I masked around the cup and used a Prima flower stencil with DI in Stormy Sky for the cup, then blended Stormy Sky around the edges of that panel
  • The tea is Tea Dye DI
  • That whole drawing popped up with 3M dimensional adhesive
  • The embossed background panel is an old index card, aged to brown perfection and dry embossed with an Anna Griffin embossing folder
That's it!

I'll share this at the following challenges:

  1. What a sweet card! It's sure to make someone feel better and cared for. The embossed layer adds a lovely interest. Thanks so much for joining us at TGIF Challenges this week.

  2. Great job with creating your own image, I love the artsy feel of the card! The dry embossing frames your focal point beautifully. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!

  3. What a perfect card for the cold day we are having up here in Canada. I love how you have used a stencil for the masking technique. Way to be creative! Thank you so much for joining in with us this week over at TGIF Challenges.💖
