STAMPlorations December...

... theme and sketch...

Here is the actual sketch and graphic from STAMPlorations:

Supplies and notes:

  • The flowers (by STAMPlorations) stamped in Ranger Archival on an old dictionary page then Colorbursted
  • Fussy cut the flowers and pasted them onto black scrap paper with matte Mod Podge, then pasted over them to seal them
  • When dry, I ripped the paper and pasted it onto the card
  • "Thinking of you" written with Faber-Castell Pitts
When I made this, I had just finished my hand-deliver holiday cards... I needed non-xmas!  Is that bad?  Don't worry... I still have the holiday spirit.  I just need to drink some eggnog to recharge it!

  4. The black panel makes the bold colors of the flowers stand out beautifully and I think there's something exotic about this design.
