...caught a bug...

A few weeks ago, Shopping Our Stash hosted a challenge about bugs, and Bonnie used the clever idea of "catching a bug"-- as in getting sick!  So clever!  I used some of my unused bug drawings to make my own "caught a bug" card:


Supplies and notes:

  • Focal sentiment punched with a Fiskars punch and written with Jane Davenport brush pens and a Tonic/Kuretake small waterbrush
  • Bugs painted on a scrap of watercolor paper with Jane Davenport watercolors
  • Over the bugs, I stamped old metal letterpress blocks of instructions for who-knows-what
  • The green cardstock was passed to me recently from a coworker (Thanks, Michelle!)
