Here's my card:
Had to include this uncropped picture because the sage star on the craft shack matches perfectly! |
Here's the palette that inspired it-- they remind me of, like, Italy or something old and bold:
Supplies and notes:
- MME paper
- Tim's Sizzix Alterations leaf die on some scrap cardstock
- Tim's StampAnon sentiment. I was thinking these colors would make for a good sympathy card for a pet or maybe a non-close relative (Does that make sense? Like, "I'm sorry, even though you didn't know your second cousin well, but it's causing your mom stress..."), but the "Thinking of you" sentiment fit the feel of the card, and I found it first... hahaha... Anyway, I stamped it with Tim's Mixed Media palette, Ground Espresso
What a nice card! I love the textures and how you used the colors. Thanks for joining us at Color My Heart! Glad to have you back!
ReplyDeleteVery nice card! I love how you rounded the top corners and not the bottom ones....great design choice. Thank you for inspiring us at Color My Heart Challenge Blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm rather a newbie when it comes to entering color challenges. The cards I've made from time to time in the past have never been personal favorites, but now I'm hooked. And I love seeing what others make. It's so easy to use those favorite, safe go to colors (like red, white and blue, kraft ... For me). You did great with this color scheme.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Mimi! So glad that you found the time to play along with the Color Dare challenge this week. Please join us again soon!
