Another Millie creation...

Millie is my husband's mistress.  He came home for lunch today, and I said, "Look at this tag I made," and he immediately smiled and walked over to his dog and started sweet-talking her... it's ok.  I love that dog, too.  She's a pretty hound.

Here she is:

Supplies:

  • Background made with Funky Fuchsia and Postbox Red Dylusions sprays through a Heidi Swapp stencil. (Sidenote: I thought this TYI challenge had closed, but I saw this background panel in my stash and my mind immediately went to this challenge-- I know it's geometric, it reminded me of the brick background I had seen last week!  I checked the TYI challenge and it was game-on!)
  • The Millie stamp was one of the first stamps I ever carved.  I most often color it with Marvy brush markers, and I did with this.
  • "Love" was written with a brush Sharpie, highlighted with a silver gel pen
  • The twine was leftover from a holiday gift
Pop over to TYI and see the other folks' interpretation of the inspiration tag!

  1. Millie is perfect as a take on the TYI challenge inspiration tag, Mimi! I hope you hung it over her dog bed ~ or maybe your husband wants to carry it in his wallet, lol!! Hugs, Darnell

  2. Ha! I have a similar situation with my DH, only it's his chickens! No lie, love them to bits! Your tag is wonderfully done for the challenge. Did you 'carve' it? Amazing! Thank you for sharing with us at Tag You're It!

  4. I've got no pets. I want a cat. But now I see the advantage of having no competition for hubby at least...
The dog silhouette looks very realistic.
