Honestly, this came out of nowhere... I had laid that donkey chip down with a couple orange flowers the other day, and danged if the card didn't make itself today! Literally another project made from odds and ends around my desk. (Maybe I need to clean... or, on second thought, maybe I shouldn't!)
Supplies:
- Library card base with a dash of Vibrant Turquoise Dylusions spray
- Burro/donkey (some pack ungulate) chip from an old K & Company alphabet box
- Flowers from bulk dipped into Spiced Marmalade Distress Stain, then sprayed with water
- Viva Paper Pearls in red
- The scraps with the sentiment were left over from a nicho. I scrawled the sentiment with Sharpie fine-tipped pens
Love this!
I'd like to share it at Seize the Birthday... I haven't played there on a long time, and I had them on my radar for their current optional "topping" of sweets, but then thus little guy came along and needed a home!

Mojo returned, wait cleaning your desk till he's going away again, you're on a roll here!
ReplyDeleteFab card! Love the donkey chip adorned by the flowers, and how you've made your own sentiment. Thanks for playing along at Seize The Birthday :)
ReplyDeleteYou know I always get sucked in with the library ephemera! But this is so witty and clever all the way around! Your sense of humor is one of the best parts of your art and I love the whimsical way you look at the world. This piece is full of beauty, too, and I love the pearls and flowers. If this is the type of creation that comes out of your desk mess, then I say never clean again!
