The challenge was a tic-tac-toe... (I love these!):
Supplies & notes:
- I found this library card with my daughter's name on it from years ago... awwww... I've been saving it for a little project, and decided to use it for this challenge, so the first thing I did was cut it down to ATC size.
- I dabbed Tim's Distress inkpad in Broken China onto my mat and sprites it, then smooshed the card into it.
- Next, I glued on the charm (Tim's arrow) and the button (the blue with the diamond... been waiting to use that for years-- cut the shank off), and added little tiny diamonds that were originally from a nail set from a lifetime ago.
- Finally, I added some Martha Stewart glitter and chalked a few exposed edges with Color Box chalk in Creamy Brown
I think I'll add a ribbon and hang this in the big girl's room. She'll dig it. She is an oceany-hipster, so the watercolored blues and hip arrow will definitely appeal to her (I think... who knows about tweens...) haha.
How lovely to create with something so personal, love it. Thanks for joining us at Wicked Wednesday :)
