And here's the sketch:
Supplies
- Old piano paper... the background was a paper from a guide likely 100 years old.
- The cross-hatched DP is BasicGrey, and the gold polka dot vellum is American Crafts
- I edged/daubed it all with Tim Holtz's Distress Paint in Victorian Velvet, then topped with Color Box chalk in Creamy Brown
- The "beautiful" is from Heidi Swapp, and I painted it with some Liquid Leaf in classic gold
- Cord is True Hemp metallic and then sprinkled a few sequins for good measure
This is very pretty Mimi and although a modern design definitely has a vintage feel and the soft pink is lovely with the beautiful gold polka dot vellum and gold die cut sentiment. x
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the sketch, Mimi! I love the mix of papers and the softness...the the Heidi Swapp work in gold...the perfect sentiment.

I loved this sketch and you've really used it beautifully! Love the die cut sentiment and the awesome jumbo dots!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous card. Love that big word die cut sprawling across the card. Thanks for playing along with VLV!
