Sketch Saturday!

Long time, no play at Sketch Saturday!

Here is (are) my little creation(s)...:

... based on this sketch by Niki:

Supplies and notes:
  • In my mind, I saw the sketch as bubbles... you know, colorful bubbles floating through the air, however, while I have tiny circle punches and large circle punches, I don't have any medium... so I switched gears and went hex...
    • I used Fiskars hexagon punches on some watercolor paper that I'd done a mild version of Tim's wrinkle-free distress with some brighter DIs
  • The sentiment is written with a Tombow in black
  • The white sequins are from my stash, attached with Glossy Accents
I'd like to also share this at Creative Corner for their current Anything Goes!!!  The prize is a great clear alphabet stamp set that I think I'd use the heck out of!  And because I like the way this card turned out, I am proud to share!

Ta-ta for now.

  2. A great set of cards that could be given away as a set for someone who doesn't make their own. They're ageless, timeless and gender neutral, I love that about a card.
