HERE is the link to the Verve shop.
Here is the second card I made using my new favorites (and FYI, the corugated metal in the background is the roof to my craft-shack...under construction!):
I am linking it to the following challenges as well as the Verve Latte Love gallery:
- Verve's Latte Love link-up... see other folks' creations with the digital set!
- Crafting By Designs: All About Autumn challenge
- Try It On Tuesday: Autumn challenge
- Just Us Girls #314: Trend Week-- stencils
- The Card Concept #41: Autumn Neutrals... I guess I'd consider this card Clean And Layered... though it has a slightly grungy feel...
Supplies & notes:
- The sentiment is Verve. I daubed it with Tim Holtz's Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap, then tied it with True Hemp metallic cord
- Stampendous's frantage embossing powder in Aged Silver set over Theresa Collins modeling paste, which was all used through a Balzer stencil
- The DP is My Mind's Eye

Love the aged wooden look of your card and how the frantage looks like tiny, tiny metal pearls, what a great effect!
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful! I love the patterned paper and your embossed leaves compliment it perfectly!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet your craft shack will be awesome, especially with a rustic-looking tin roof...I'm envious since I have to get crafty either at our kitchen table or in our family room --neither place has adequate room to leave anything out.
Great neutral card! Love the background and those embossed leaves! Never thought to emboss over modeling paste! Beautiful job! So glad you joined us over at Just Us Girls this week! Hope to see more of your work in our gallery again soon!

ReplyDeleteI am calling winner, winner on this one! Wow, Mimi, that looks lushilicious, like a creamy frosting with teeny chocolate sprinkles! (Yes, that's right, cards often tweak food comments from me!) I just love the whole rustic feel of this design!
ReplyDeleteYou came by to see me about a month ago and you kindly joined me as a follower. You even played in my NBUS Challenge #5 and I appreciate that very much! If you have been back since, you'll know that my nursing duties have delayed my visit here to thank you and to return the compliment by joining you, in return. It is an absolute pleasure to meet you! I hope to see you again soon. Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
Unbelievably GORGEOUS! Oh wow!!! The feathers are so beautiful with this treatment and go so beautifully with that sentiment, oh how I hope Julee will release it as a stamp! ;0
