SOS 443: Plant life!

This week at Shopping Our Stash, I am the hostess and I chose the theme "Plant Life" because I love all things leafy (or even plants without leaves... like succulents and cacti!

It was hard to narrow down which supplies I would use, but I am happy with these somewhat CAS creations:

Supplies and notes:

  • The hearts were painted on canvas paper last week using Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay India Ink, and cut at that time.
  • The word stickers were purchased from The Dollar Tree probably three years ago now... I love them!  I will be sad when they are gone!
  • Tim Holtz Wildflowers dies from set #1 circa 2016.
  • I used Park Lane gold and holographic papers from JoAnns.
  • On the blue "Good Luck" card, I used Versamark ink with Ranger Princess Gold EP and a stamp from The Stamp Pad Company that must be 20 years old.
  • On the red/orange heart, you can see the heat-embossed Stamplorations French Marigold stamp.

I also made these for this challenge... and forgot about them!:

Supplies and notes:

  • The leaves/sentiments were painted about seven months ago using Dr. Ph. Martin's Hydrus Watercolor on Strathmore watercolor paper.
  • The top card:
    • Elle's Studio paper from 2013
    • Park Lane gold paper
    • Nuvo Drops in Ivory Shell
  • The bottom card:
    • Kaisercraft paper from probably 4-5 years ago
    • Liquid Pearls in Petal Pink from 2010

Thank you for visiting!  Please go check out what my awesome teammates made at the Shopping Our Stash site!
