Supplies and notes:
- Old library card base colored with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Crayons and blended with a bit of water
- Tree cut from BasicGrey paper inked with Pine Needle Distress Ink through a STAMPlorations heart stencil
- Both background and tree spayed with Dylusions spray in White Linen for a subtle snowy look... IDK... successful?
- The bird is a Dina Wakley stamp on BasicGrey striped paper
- The holly stamp on the bird's chest is very old... no packaging... I added some Stickles for the berries, and I colored the leaves with a colored pencil then added Glossy Accents
- The star atop the tree is an oldie found at the school... it's a lick 'n' stick!
Great contemporary style, love the way you cut the tree, looking good with the stenciling and white spray for snow. A fun, festive tag!
ReplyDeleteooooooh! a 2nd helping of crafy mimi xmas awesomeness?! yes please! i love this one... those dina birds were already a fave, but now i'm wondering WHY i've never used them on holiday cards??!?!? gotta fix that ASAP! (ps: i love the "subtle" background snow... it really IS subtle... so i wasn't immediately thinking SMOW... but i did notice and like it a lot!) <3
ReplyDeletethat should be SNOW and not SMOW. tho, in fairness... i wasn't immediately thinking SMOW either... :0
